MEET THE 2020 MISS FLORIDA USA®
Monique Evans is a Naples, Florida native who spends her free time dancing on her toes as a professionally trained ballerina. A graduate from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Nutritional Science with a medical certificate she is using her love of science in her career as a psychiatric specialty pharmaceutical representative. As Miss Florida USA she has chosen the platform “Be Kind to your Mind,“ focusing on mental health and mental illness and helping others understand the difference. She believes there is a mind body connection and daily healthy habits are key to overall health but also realizes we need to be understanding of those with mental illnesses. When not making an impact in the community, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling the globe, scuba diving, wakeboarding and walking her two dogs Bear and Cub.

Rylie is an associate member of Best Buddies in Gainesville. Upon graduation, it is Rylie’s dream to become an award winning Television/Film producer to share stories with positive messages to inspire future generations.
Rylie graduated from Riverdale High School where she was Senior Class President, was enrolled in the International Baccalaureate academic program, and finished with a 5.55 GPA. She was a member of National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society, was Vice President of the Best Buddies Club, and earned a Varsity Letter in Cheer, Lacrosse, and Track.
Rylie was selected as a KIND Campaign Ambassador and has made it her goal to spread kindness and empathy all around the state of Florida. She does so by speaking to schools, getting involved with initiatives with similar purposes, and even organizing Kindness Projects of her own.
