MISS FLORIDA USAŽ & MISS FLORIDA TEEN USAŽ FACT SHEET
WHO: Open to all women of the Sunshine State of Florida between the ages of 1318 in the Miss Florida Teen USA Division (birthdates between 2/2/91 and 2/1/96). The Miss Florida USA Division is 18 -26, with birthdates between 2/1/83 and 2/1/91. All delegates must be USA citizens or residents of Florida for 6 months, never been married or had a marriage annulled, never given birth to a child and born a female.
WHAT:
The Miss Florida USAŽ and Miss Florida Teen USAŽ Pageants are the
official qualifiers towards Miss Teen USAŽ, Miss USAŽ and Miss UniverseŽ. Each
delegate has to qualify at a local preliminary pageant and either win her way
to state or qualify as a local finalist, or win a Miss Photogenic or Miss
Amity award. Qualifiers can have the option of competing at the state level if they
pay the registration fee.
WHEN:
Miss Florida USA is scheduled for
July 14-18, 2009 at The Westin Diplomat Resort and Hotel on Hollywood Beach. Our
host, The City of Hollywood, will be the site of several events and pre-tape
sessions prior to state. The mandatory Miss Florida USA Seminar Day has been
scheduled for June, 2009.
The Miss Florida Teen USA 2010 Pageant is tentatively scheduled for the first weekend in October, again in Hollywood. The mandatory Miss Florida Teen USA Seminar Day has been historically the first Saturday in September. This will be announced in the next few weeks.

COMPETITION:
The classic areas of competition are Interview, Evening Gown and
Swimsuit (Physical Fitness). There is no talent competition in the Miss USA
Systems
