AD DESIGN

The ad design procedure is really easy!

You simply e-mail us the photos and verbiage you'd like to see included in the ad/s, and we will take care of the rest.

PHOTOS: When it comes to the choice of photos, we recommend using one single shot. It is true: one picture speaks louder than a thousand words, and we think that ads with just one great looking shot strike the best balance between impact and sophistication.

Ideally, this image would come from a professional photographer, and you would have a high-resolution copy of it on a CD. The higher the resolution of your images, the better the final ad will look like. Low-resolution images, on the other hand, could make the final product look "grainy" and will diminish the visual quality of your ad. This is a key ingredient that can make or break the final result in a pageant! Our format of choice for photos is JPEG, in 300dpi or higher resolution. Remember: the judges will see your headshot and your ad in the program book BEFORE they meet you in person, so first impressions are crucial!

You will of course be able to receive (via e-mail) a preliminary version of the ad for your approval and error-checking. Once you are 100% happy with the results, we will e-mail you the final version of the ad in a high-resolution, printer-ready format. You will then be able to e-mail this final version of the ad to your Pageant Producer, Director or Organizer. For pricing, please refer to our "PRICES" section. This fee would need to be paid once you approve the final version of the ad, and payment would need to be made via a regular check. Upon receipt of the check, we will then send you the high-resolution, final ad.

VERBIAGE: The same principle applies here. We recommend you keep the amount of text in your ad at a bare-minimum. Your full name is really what's important. Inspirational quotes, "thank you" and "best wishes" messages are of course always welcomed, but remember: the more space you use for the text, the less space we have to work with your photo (and the more chances you have to bore the judges!). Short and sweet wins!

PROGRAM BOOK DESIGN

Many elements come into play here, but the basic items we would need from you are the following:

- How many pages do you need?

- What TYPE of pages?

(Contestant galleries, Director's Welcome Page, Prizes Page, Judges Page, Farewell Page, ads from your sponsors, etc)

- Of all those pages, WHICH ones would you like us to design for you, and which ones will you be supplying?

- What format would you like your book to be in?

Usually, our clients use the 8.5 X 11 inches format.

- Would you need a FULL COLOR book, a Black & White one, or one with a mix of both?
