Miss Tampa Bay USA &  Miss Tampa Bay Teen USA December 3, 2011   Eleana Frangedis answers the onstage question / Brett Pettee introduces herself to the audience       Our first visit of the season in Hillsborough County this season saw The Road to Hollywood present the second edition of the Miss Tampa Bay USA & Teen USA Pageants. The competition took place as a Saturday matinee onstage at The Tampa Convention Center in Downtown Tampa. Hosted by Miss Tampa USA 2012 Collins Medlin and Miss Southwest Florida USA 2013 Ashleigh Hodges graced the podium during the fast paced and lively performance.   The Miss Teen USA delegates opened the show with self-introductions in their white cocktail dresses while the USA division introduced themselves in their red cocktail dresses. This was the first chance the audience had to meet the young ladies and then gained insight into their public speaking abilities with the onstage interview competition. The pageantry continued with swimwear of one or two piece suits of their own choosing. Then it was everyone favorite, the evening gown competition showed the delegates flair for fashion. Up first was the Miss Photogenic award for the pageant, all of which qualified the winner to the state: Miss Photogenic was presented to Eleana Frangedis, then Miss Amity was announced and Jeslie Mergal wins the afternoon’s friendliest award.    Then the Tampa Bay Teen USA delegates were called to the front of the stage and read the results: 1st Runner Up is Eleana Frangedis Miss Tampa Bay Teen USA 2013 is Natalie Gonzalez!   Finally the Tampa Bay USA delegates were called to the front of the stage and read the results: 1st Runner Up is Jeslie Mergal Miss Clearwater USA 2013 is Cher Hubsher! Miss Tampa Bay USA 2013 is Tiffany Raia!     Miss Gonzalez; Ms. Hubsher and Ms. Raia’s winning moments     It was truly a great day of pageantry. Congratulations to Miss Gonzalez, Miss Hubsher and Ms, Raia on their entries to state in Hollywood. Also a big thank you to the days dedicated volunteers and staff of the Tampa Convention Center who put together one fun afternoon of pageantry. Up next is a trip east on I-4 for the Miss West Volusia USA and Teen USA Pageants, the final stop of the year in 2011!     Team Tampa Bay USA 2013
