Miss St. Petersburg USA &  Miss St. Petersburg Teen USA January 29, 2011   Miss Weldon introduces herself to the audience /   Ms. Kebler answers the onstage question       Our first ever visit to Pinellas County saw The Road to Hollywood present the inaugural Miss St. Petersburg USA & Teen USA Pageants. The competition took place as a Sunday twilight matinee onstage at The freeFall Theater in trendy Downtown St. Petersburg. Hosted by Miss Tampa Bay USA 2013 Tiffany Raja, Miss Clearwater USA 2013 Cher Hubsher and Miss Southwest Florida USA 2013 Ashleigh Hodges graced the podium during the fast paced and lively performance.   The show opened the show with self-introductions in either white cocktail dresses for the Teen Division while the USA division introduced themselves in their red cocktail dresses. This was the first chance the audience had to meet the young ladies and then gained insight into their public speaking abilities with the onstage interview competition. The pageantry continued with swimwear of one or two piece suits of their own choosing. Then it was everyone favorite, the evening gown competition showed the delegates flair for fashion. All competitions ended with group comparison judging.     Ms. Pettee (blue), Ms. McKee (black) and Ms. Pollock (pink) in the swimsuit competition     Ms. Kebler (green); Ms. Day (black + white) and Ms. Medlin (white)  in the evening gown competition.     As soon as the votes were tabulated by the official auditor the results were handed to Ms. Raia to read the judges results. Up first was the Miss Photogenic award for the pageant, all of which qualified the winner to the state: Miss Photogenic was presented to both Brett Pettee and Haviland Kebler, then Miss Amity was announced and Kristin Pollock wins the afternoon’s friendliest award.      Then the Tampa Bay Teen USA delegates were called to the front of the stage and read the results: Miss St. Petersburg Teen USA 2013 is Sydney Weldon!   Finally the Tampa Bay USA delegates were called to the front of the stage and read the results: 1st Runner Up is Ashley Day The first ever Miss Safety Harbor USA 2013 is Jenelle McKee The new Miss St. Petersburg USA 2013 is Collins Medlin        Miss Weldon and Ms. McKee’s winning moments       It was truly a great day of pageantry. Congratulations to Miss Weldon, Ms. McKee and Ms, Medlin on their entries to state in Hollywood. Also a big thank you to the days dedicated volunteers and staff of the freeFall Theater who put together one fun afternoon of pageantry. Up next is a trip south on I-75 for Super Bowl Sunday’s Miss Doral USA and Teen USA Pageants for their first ever competition in the West Miami Dade city next week.          Team St. Petersburg USA 2013 and judges
