Miss Pensacola USA &  Miss Pensacola Teen USA April 25, 2009 The Road to Hollywood headed for our westernmost tip and the Five Flag City as it was time for our fifth Miss Pensacola USA & Teen USA Pageant. For the first time under the direction of Tel-Air Interests we found this to be a great pageant city. Before a very enthusiastic audience at the Pensacola High School Auditorium our six Miss USA and three Miss Teen USA delegates hitting the stage. Pageant Hostess Haley Long and Mara Lundsford then welcomed the enthusiastic matinee audience.            Miss McDonald introduces herself to the audience / Miss A. Kimball, Miss Meier  and Ms. B. Kimball in their red or white opening dresses          Ms. Peek  (orange), Ms. Foss (purple) and   Ms. Meriwether (coral) in the Swimsuit competition           Ms. Powell (gold), Ms. Cooper (white) and Miss McDonald (blue) in Evening Gown competition                                                                        Then it was time for a fun afternoon of pageantry. After the onstage introductions the competition then began with interviews handled by Haley Long. Afterwards  The Panhandle USA team of Leah McLaney and Bree Sison the continued the hosting duties for the traditional swimsuit and evening gown competitions that completed the judges criteria. After the traditional walks to conclude the competition it was time for the results.         The Teen USA delegates await the results       The cast gathered onstage as the special awards of the afternoon were presented. Miss Amity went to Chelsea Cooper while Miss Photogenic went to Holly Peek. Then each group was called center stage for the results. Beginning with the Miss Pensacola Teen USA Division: 2nd Runner Up is Music Meier  1st Runner Up is Ashley Kimbal  The new Miss Pensacola Teen USA 2010 is Lacey McDonald       Miss McDonald is the newest Miss Pensacola Teen USA         Then it was time to bring center stage The Miss Pensacola USA Division: 1st Runner Up is Lindsey Foss The new Miss Panhandle USA 2010 is Bailey Powell!  The new Miss Pensacola USA 2010 is Holly Peek!         Ms. Peek’s crowning moment… / Ms. Powell is named Miss Panhandle USA 2010!                                                                               Congratulations to our new Miss Pensacola USA Team as Miss McDonald, Ms. Powell and Ms. Peek are now going to Hollywood! Also a big hand goes to our volunteers and staff at Pensacola High School who helped pout together a great afternoon of pageantry. Next up on The Road to Hollywood are stops in Panama City, Dade City and Miami-Dade as this Super-weekend is not even halfway done yet!         Team Pensacola USA 2009!
