Miss Orlando/Polk County/ Lake Buena Vista USA & Teen USA 2007 May 22, 2007     Onstage with the traveling titleholders     The first pageant of the weekend’ s pageant tripleheader saw a highly competitive three-title pageant at The Timber Creek Performing Arts Center Saturday afternoon. A large and vocal crowd came to cheer on the twelve Miss USA and eleven Miss Teen USA delegates competing for the crown. Hostess and Julie Broughton of Central Florida News 13 who greeted the audience as it was time to get the pageant started!    The show began by getting the crowd out of their seats in a choreographed dance number featuring the delegates in jeans while dancing up a storm to “Dream Girls”. After the opening it was time to introduce the delegates to the judges and audience.       The Opening Production number       Miss Collier takes the stage (left), Ms. Tycholiz being interviewed by  Ms. Broughton (center) & Ms. Etwell in the Swimsuit Competition (left)     Up first was the swimsuit competition as the delegates competed in either one or two-piece suits of their own choosing. Afterwards a modern dance performance by Megan Alonge led to the final competition. Everyone’s favorite The Evening Gown’s were up next. Fashion was on display as the delegate competed in gowns of their own choosing.   Before the final announcements were read, Miss Lake Buena Vista Teen USA 2007 is Deanna Pollina; Miss Orlando USA 2007 is Jessika McLaughlin and Miss Miss City Beautiful Teen USA 2007 is Nicole Boyd had the chance to take the last walk of their titles.        Judge's view of the interview competition         Before the final placements were announced it was time for those special awards that also qualify the winners for state. First was Miss Photogenic and the winners were Allison Jones (TUSA) & Lolita Arjul (USA). Miss Amity went to Alexis Space (TUSA) and Christie Hendrick (USA). Finally it was the Peoples Choice Award and that awarded to Ashanti Campbell (TUSA) & Lolita Arjul (USA) who took home her second award of the day.     Our hostess announced the Miss Teen USA division first. The results were: 4th Runner Up is Sherena Slayton 3rd Runner Up is Alexis Space 2nd Runner Up is Courtney Harris 1st Runner Up is Fajalla O’Neill Miss Avalon Park Teen USA 2008 is Ashuntee Gamble Miss City Beautiful Teen USA 2008 is Jeanne Almulla Miss Orlando Teen USA 2008 is Kayla Collier     Ms. Webber is Miss Avalon Park USA!       Miss Gambles winning moment       Then it was time for the Miss USA delegates to step forward. Before the announcement a special surprise was announced, due to a tie a forth title will be awarded!
