Miss Orange County USA &  Miss Orange County Teen USA February 20, 2010     The Road to Hollywood made its first stop of the year in the Orlando area for the grand debut of the Miss Orange County USA Pageant. Under the direction of Sherian Stephenson and her volunteer team put together a fun Saturday afternoon of pageantry. The Homewood Suites on International Drive hosted the four Miss Orange County USA and three Miss Orange County Teen USA delegates.   Hosted by Team West Volusia County USA Jisel Parra and Ashelyn Hays the afternoon began as the delegates to hit the stage in their opening introductions  The delegates then competed in the traditional pageantry segments of swimsuits and evening gowns. The swimwear was one or two-piece of the delegates choosing. The evening gown segment was outstanding and of course the onstage interview question and answer session rounded out the competition for the judges and audience.       Ms. Pelletier addresses the judges during the onstage interviews / Ms. Hughes during the opening introductions     Ms Pelletier (yellow and white), Ms. Weller (brown),   and Ms. Wolf (pink)  in swimsuits of their own choosing.       Miss Sha (light blue), Miss Garren (gold) and and Ms Hughes (yellow) in the Evening Gown Competition.       After a brief intermission all eyes were on our hostesses as it was time to get down to the business of the Day. Up first was the announcement of the Miss Amity Award as the delegates chose Amanda Wolf with Miss Photogenic going to Shekifira Hughes as these ladies have now qualified to state.     The Miss Orange County USA delegates await the decision     The Miss Orange County Teen USA Pageants were asked to go to center stage as it was time for the results: The 2nd runner up is Alexis Rose The 1st runner up is Sybil Sha The first Miss Orange County Teen USA 2011 is Victoria Garren.       Miss Garren is the new Miss Orange County Teen USA       Then it was time for the Miss Orange County USA delegate’s results to be announced: The 3rd runner up is Amanda Wolf The 2nd runner up is Shekifira Hughes The 1st runner up is Jessie Pelletier Our Miss Orange County USA 2011 is Kendra Waller       What a fun pageant and congratulations to Mrs. Stevenson and her team of volunteers and congratulations to Miss Garren and Ms. Weller as they are the newest members of the Class of 2011. Up next on the Road to Hollywood is a trip north on the Turnpike for Miss Alachua/Marion County USA & Teen USA Super Pageants later Saturday afternoon and Palm Beach County on Sunday.
