Miss North FL USA &  Miss North FL Teen USA March 14, 2009   The Road to Hollywood made its second and final stop of the season in our Capital City Saturday afternoon for the inaugural Miss North Florida USA & North Florida Teen USA Pageants. Contested at The Residence Inn Convention Center the four Miss USA delegates dressed in black cocktail dresses and three Miss Teen USA delegates dressed in white cocktail dresses competed for the chance to represent the expansive region in Hollywood later this year.         Ms. Henderson greets the audience       Miss Ward answers her interview question       The afternoon started with pageant director Asari Maurice introducing the hostess of the evening Vida Sheffield, Miss Tallahassee USA 2010. After introducing the pageant and local dignitaries it was time to bring out the contestants. The delegates presented themselves and greeted the judges and audience signaling the pageant was underway. During their introductions each delegate added a tidbit about themselves to the audience.       The North Florida USA Evening Gown review          Miss Visnovsky (brown), Ms. Hall (orange) and Ms. Cooper (aqua) in Swimsuits of their own choosing         The stage competition began with swimsuits as the delegates wore one or two- piece suits of their own choosing. Then it was everybody’s favorite the evening gown competition. First the teen delegates and then the miss delegates all had the chance to show off their personal fashion sense.        Awaiting the results…     Now all was left was to announce the special prizes and announce the results. Miss Amity went to Brittany Pate (NFTUSA) and Ashley Hall (NFUSA) while  Miss Photogenic was awarded to Amanda Zitzman (NFUSA) and Victoria Ward (NFTUSA) while the Peoples Choice Award went to Amanda Zitzman. Then it was time for the big announcement and the Teen USA delegates were called to center stage.     The results for Miss North Florida Teen USA were the first to be announced and the final results were: 1st Runner Up is Brittney Pate The first ever Miss North Florida Teen USA is Sarah Visnovsky!     Miss Visnovsky during her crowning moment     After Miss Visnovsky’s crowning moment it was time for the Miss North Florida USA contestants to take the spotlight as the final results were announced: 1st runner-up Tori Henderson Completing Team North Florida USA 2010 is Ashely Hall.       A very emotional Ms. Hall is the new Miss North Florida USA!       Congratulations to Miss Visnovsky and Ms. Hall as they represent North Florida at state. Also a congratulation’s goes to Pageant Director Asari Maurice the staff and volunteers at Great Creation Events for an outstanding pageant!
