Belkys introduces herself to the judges and audience

The Road to Hollywood visited The Sun & Fun Capital of The World as a highly competitive Miss Miami Beach USA Pageant with twenty-three delegates awaited the sold out and rowdy crowd. The historic Colony Theater hosted the first ever Miss Miami Beach USA Pageant under the direction of Tammy and Lauren Green of The Green Agency. In spite of the tropical rainstorms the standing room only crowd came out to cheer on the fourteen Miss USA and nine Miss Teen USA delegates.

The show started with the delegates introducing themselves to the audience and judges. Each delegate was given a black Miami Beach T-Shirt and were encouraged to customize it for the evening and added the look with legging for the self-introduction openings. After the openings it was time to introduce our host’s for the evening, Miss Florida USA 2010 Megan Clementi who shared the duties with Zoey 101 star Matthew Underwood.

Both swimsuit competitions featured swimwear provided by Red Carter Swimwear which all of the delegates kept as a gift from the pageant. Then it was everyone’s favorite The Evening Gown Competition was up next. Fashion was on display as the delegate competed in gowns of their own choosing.
