Miss Miami USA &  Miss Miami Teen USA February 13, 2011     The Show Opening dance number   The Road to Hollywood visited The Capital of The America’s as in the Magic City we had a highly competitive Miss Miami USA & Teen USA Pageant as twelve delegates awaited the judges and audience. The Grand Ballroom at The Miami Merchandise Mart Double Tree Hotel hosted the tenth Miss Miami USA Pageant, which is one of the original six prelims and carries on the tradition in Florida’s largest city. An enthusiastic crowd came to cheer on the three Miss Teen USA and nine Miss USA delegates.       Ms. Ramirez introduces herself in her red opening number dress / Vanessa Ferbvyre is interviewed by Mr. Estevez   The both shows started with the delegates introducing themselves to the audience and judges. The color of choice for the introductions was red in honor of Valentines Day as each wore a matching dress during the self-introduction openings. After the openings it was time to introduce our Master of Ceremonies, Jorge Estevez an Emmy Award winning host from WFOR-CBS Miami as well as Miss Miami USA 2011 Damaris Aguiarre and Miss Miami Teen USA 2011 Janette Rosell along with Miss Pinecrest Teen USA 2011 Carolyn Rubido and Miss Pinecrest USA 2011 Vanessa Gonzalez.       Miss Duran; Miss Hernandez and Ms. Hernandez in their swimwear be Desiree Nercessian.    Ms. Averado (white), Ms. Aguirre (green)  and Ms. Bryant (yellow)  in Evening Gowns of their own selection.     After the onstage introductions it was the traditional three areas of competitions for our delegates. The swimsuit competitions featured delegates in swimwear by Desiree Nercessian.  Then it was everyone’s favorite The Evening Gown Competition was up next. Fashion was on display as the delegate competed in gowns of their own choosing then they answered the infamous “blind draw question” onstage to complete the competition.   As the cast was called onstage it was time to announce the results beginning with The Miss Miami Teen USA Division:   The 2nd Runner-up is Lizandra Guzman The 1st Runner-up is Helen Duran Miss Miami Teen USA 2012 is Aileen Hernandez Then the Miss Miami USA Results were read: The 3rd Runner-up is Michelle Aguirre The 2nd Runner-up is Krystal Averado The 1st Runner-Up is Caroline Schwitzky Miss Magic City USA 2012 is Natalia Lopez Miss Pinecrest USA 2012 is Kristina Bryant Miss Miami USA 2012 is Melissa Ramirez     Miss Hernandez is the new Miss Miami Teen USA! / Ms. Ramirez’s crowning moment     What a great evening of pageantry! Congratulations to Team Miami USA members Miss Hernandez, Ms. Lopez, Ms. Bryant and Ms. Ramirez as they now go to state representing the Magic City of Miami. Congratulations also goes to the Miami Tropics Scholarship Organization for another job well done. Now the Road To Hollywood ventures North on I-75 to Gator County for Miss Alachua/Marion County USA + Teen USA then back south to Miss Weston USA + Teen USA as we begin our pageant doubleheader stretch beginning next weekend here on the Road to Miss Florida USA!       Team Miss Miami USA
