Miss Lee County USA &  Miss Lee County Teen USA October 22, 2011   Aria Armstead models her opening introduction dress / Murphy Rhodes introduces herself to the audience       The Road to Hollywood opened up its new year in Southwest Florida for the forth edition of the Miss Lee County USA & Teen Pageants. It was quite an evening of pageantry as director Sandi Spahn and her volunteer team presented a great show with some strong competition. The Paul Mitchell School in Ft. Myers hosted seven Miss Lee County Teen USA and five Miss Lee County USA delegates. The event was standing room only and excitement was in the air as the pageant season is finally underway in Lee County.   Hosted by Miss Sarasota USA 2012 Tiffany Raja and Miss Ft. Myers USA 2012 Casey Conn with help from Melanie Williams Miss Naples Teen USA 2012 greeted the audience as the delegates hit the runway as each contestant presented themselves to the audience and judges with insight into their careers and education during the self-introductions. It was onto the traditional pageantry competitions of onstage interviews, swimsuits and evening gowns. The swimwear was of the delegates choosing while the evening gown segment featured the delegates fashion sense on parade.       Valerie Martinez (green); Miss Anderson (gold); and Ms. Stephens (orange)  in swimsuits of their own choosing.     The Lee County Teen USA cast of delegates await the results     Natalie Gonzalez (Silver), Miss Roberts (blue) and Elise Debono (pink) in the Evening Gown Competition       When the final delegate completed her presentation it was time to get down to the business as up first was the announcement of the Miss Amity Award and that went to Murphy Rhodes while Miss Photogenic was awarded to Jacqueline Tooma and the People’s Choice Award went to Sarah Wingo. Then the results for Miss Lee County Teen USA were ready to be announced: The 1st runner up is Hailey Anderson Miss Lee County Teen USA 2013 is Marni Roberts     To end the evening the hostesses read the results for Miss Lee County USA: The 1st runner up is Jacqueline Tooma The new Miss Lee County Teen USA 2013 is Heather Stephens     Miss Roberts and Ms. Stephens winning moments     What a great pageant and wonderful start to the new season. Congratulations go to Mrs. Spahn and her team of volunteers and staff as they put together a very professional and well run event! Also congratulations to Miss Roberts and Ms. Stephens on representing their region at state.
