Miss Florida Keys USA &  Miss Florida Keys Teen USA March 28, 2010   The Road to Miss Florida USA returned to The Florida Keys for the sixth edition of Miss Homestead/Florida Keys USA Pageant and the third as Miss Florida Keys USA. Held at the beautiful Coral Shores Performing Arts Center four Miss USA competed for the tiara and the chance to represent the states southernmost region at Miss Florida USA.       Ms. White is interviewed by Miss Miami Tropic USA 2011 Lissette  Garcia / Ms. Carbonell introduces herself to the judges       The competition started with the delegates introducing themselves in their red cocktail dresses. They were introduced by the afternoon hosting team of Lissette Garcia (Miss Miami Tropic  2011) and Danielle Pierce (Miss Florida Keys Teen USA 2010). The opening competition was the onstage interviews as they answered questions drawn at random. The swimsuit competition was next as the delegates wore one or two-piece suits of there own choosing. Then it was everybody’s favorite the evening gown competition. First the teen delegates and then the miss delegates all had the chance to show off their personal fashion sense.         The cast during The Florida Keys USA swimsuit competition       Miss Gaspar (Pink), Ivy Escarra (white) and Ms. Carbonell (yellow)  in the evening gown competition.       Then all was left was to announce the special prizes and the results for the Miss Florida Keys USA pageant. The special awards were up first as our winners are qualified for state. The delegates voted Miss Amity to be Katherine Pena. While our staff photographers voted the Miss Photogenic award to Natalie Carbonell.   Before the results were read The Miss Florida Keys Teen USA title was awarded to Marissa Gasper who won in a walkover. Then the Miss USA delegates were called centerstage for the results: 1st Runner Up is Katerina White The New Miss Florida Keys USA 2011 is Katherine Pena!       Miss Gasper, Miss Florida Keys Teen USA 2011 with Danielle Pierce, Miss Florida Keys Teen USA 2010 after her crowning moment / Ms. Pena’s winning moment       Congratulations to Ms. Pena along with Miss Gasper as they represent The Conch Republic at state. Next week we enjoy the Easter Holiday as The Road To Hollywood is closed for the entire weekend. Than the following weekend we return with pageantry in Miami, Jacksonville, Delray Beach and Pasco County as its only four months to Miss Florida USA.         Team Florida Keys USA 2011
