Miss Hollywood USA &  Miss Hollywood Teen USA February 27, 2010     The Road to Hollywood made the first of three stops this weekend in our namesake’s town for the seventh year of this Broward County pageant tradition. A matinee was in store as it was time to select the hometown titleholders for this years state pageant’s Saturday afternoon. It was a lively crowd awaiting the contestants at Hollywood’s Performing Arts Center in this pageant crazy city.  Produced by Hollywood’s Jaycees the competition featured five Miss USA and three Miss Teen USA delegates competed for the two tiaras.   The evening started with introductions of our two hostesses for the evening as Kelly Haffner (Miss Hollywood Teen USA 2010) and a very special guest in Kelly Saks (Miss Hollywood USA 2009) greeted their audience. Up first it was the contestant introductions in their lavender outfits that were perfect for the Hollywood setting. The Teen USA delegates hit the runway first as the crowd was very appreciative. Up next the Miss USA delegates greeted the judges and audience signaling the pageant was underway. It was clear that this was going to be a great pageant evening.       Ms. Hastey in the evening gown competition / Miss Sheaks introduces herself to the audience     Front row during the swimsuit competition       After the onstage interviews the swimsuit competition was featured as the delegates wore one or two piece suits of there own choosing. Then it was everybody’s favorite the evening gown competition. First the teen delegates and then the miss delegates all had the chance to show off their personal fashion sense.     Then it was time for the results for the Miss Hollywood Teen USA division. 2nd Runner Up is Nikki Sheaks 1st Runner Up is April Camacho The New Miss Hollywood Teen USA 2011 is Jasmine Avery!       Miss Avery’s winning moment / Ms. Freeman is the new Miss Hollywood USA!        After the crowning moments it was time for the Miss Hollywood USA contestants to take center for the final announcements: 2nd Runner Up is Erica Beltre 1st Runner Up is Annilie Hastey The New Miss Hollywood USA is Brittany Freeman!       Congratulations to Miss Avery and Ms Freeman as the represent Hollywood at state. Also a congratulation’s goes to The Hollywood Jaycees for another outstanding day of pageantry!
