Miss Hillsborough County USA &  Miss Hillsborough County Teen USA May 2, 2010     The Road To Hollywood closed the 2011 pageant season for Western Central Florida with the inaugural Miss Hillsborough County USA & Teen USA Pageants.  Four delegates competed for the two titles Sunday afternoon at The Red Rose Inn Convention Center. It was a three hostess afternoon as Miss Lakeland Teen USA 2011 Jordan Weaver; Miss Polk County USA 2011 Taylor Mock and Miss Lakeland USA 2011 Courtney Sturgill shared the microphone. Once introduced they welcomed the enthusiastic audience in this unique “Gone with the Wind” theater venue as delegates introduced themselves to the audience.    After the applause completed the audience and judges were in store for the delegates and was followed by the swimsuit competition as the delegates competed in either one or two-piece suits of their own choosing. Then everyone’s favorite The Evening Gown Competition followed as fashion was on display as the delegate competed in gowns of their own choosing. Then the onstage competition was competed by the interview phase of the pageant.     Brenna McKenna answers the onstage question of Miss Weaver / Chelsea Harris during the opening introductions     Miss Nowels in the Swimwear Competition / Ms. Green in the Evening Gown Competition.   After calling the entire cast to retake the stage it was time to present the special awards, Miss Photogenic went to Christie Nowels while Miss Amity was awarded to . Before the final results were called Miss Hillsborough County USA 2011 went to Katie Green in a walkover.  Then the delegates were called onstage with the final results being announced. The new Miss Hillsborough County Teen USA 2011 is Christy Nowels!       The first Miss Hillsborough County Teen USA!       What a fun afternoon of pageantry! Congratulations to Miss Nowels and Ms. Green as they now have a ticket to state and Pageant Director Brigetta Long along with her outstanding group of volunteers. Now the Road To Hollywood has a two pageant one stop weekend as we visit Orlando for a Super Pageant eight title event.
