Miss Ft. Myers USA 2010 January 17, 2009           The Road to Hollywood returned this weekend to Southwest Florida for the second annual Miss Ft. Myers USA & Teen Pageants. A Saturday twilight start took place from the Ft. Myers Arts Alliance Theater saw seven Miss Ft. Myers Teen and six Miss Ft. Myers USA delegates in pursuit of the two titles. The evening started off with Pageant Director Suzi Hosfeld introducing the audience to the Envy Pageant Team. It was a nice way of meeting the hardworking titleholders of the West Coast.             Mrs. Hosfeld interviews her first Miss Fort Myers Maria DeMoya       Then Mrs. Hosfeld introduced the evening’s two hosts; B103.9 Morning Radio Personality “Joe” and Bradley Dohack of ActionCOACH Business Consultants. The audience got out of their seats as the delegates hit the stage as a high-energy opening production number. Swimwear was of the delegates choosing while the evening gown segment featured the delegates fashion sense on parade. The final phase of competition saw the delegates in onstage interviews conducted by Mr. Dohack. Then a brief vocal performance by Miss Sarasota Teen USA Jenna Canfeld got the crowd taping their toes to a Dixie Chick favorite.           The Fort Myers Teen USA delegates await the results       Mr. Dohack interviews Mariah Reno         Before the delegates were called onstage it was time for the finals walks of Team Fort Myers USA 2009 Maria Demoya and Kendra Altemyer as each read the others speeches while the adoring audience roared their approval. After the pomp was over all the delegates were onstage for the finale. Up first was the announcement of the Miss Amity Award and that went to Benecia Toyloy while . the photographers chose Kathleen Patton (FMT) and Benecia Toyloy (FMUSA) who have now qualified to state.        Mrs. Hosfeld then read the results for Miss Ft. Myers Teen USA 2010: The 3rd runner up is Jessica Belknap The 2nd runner up is Danielle Pierce The 1st runner up is Samantha Puglisi Miss Ft. Myers Teen 2010 is Maicie Clark     Then the finalists for Miss Ft. Myers USA were called center stage: The 3rd runner up is Ariana da Frota The 2nd runner up is Benecia Toyloy The 1st runner up is Samantha Misener The new Miss Ft. Congratulations goes to Ms. Hosfeld and her team of volunteers and staff as they put together a very professional and well run event! Also congratulations to Miss Clark and Ms. Patton on representing their region at state. The Road to Hollywood returns to South Florida on January 24th for the Miss Doral USA & Teen Pageants to be held Saturday afternoon at International Mall in Doral. See all of our friends next weekend!
