Miss Fort Lauderdale USA &  Miss Fort Lauderdale Teen USA December 13, 2009     The Miss Ft. Lauderdale USA cast backstage in their opening fashions     The Miss Florida USA season’s final stop of the decade saw a beautiful Sunday afternoon in Broward County for the second annual Miss Ft. Lauderdale USA Pageant. The event was contested at The Ft. Lauderdale Suites by Marriot. Produced by Southern Bell Productions two Miss USA and three Miss Teen USA delegates competed for the chance to represent the sun and fun capital at Miss Florida USA and Miss Florida Teen USA.   The evening started with the introductions of the hostess of the afternoon Miss Florida Teen USA 2010 Alyssa Rivera. After introducing the pageant dignitaries in attendance it was time to bring out the contestants. With the delegates entering through the audience the presented themselves with self-introduction’s on-stage.        Miss Bromagen before the judges in the interview competition.   The swimsuit competition was first as the delegates wore one or two-piece suits of there own choosing. Then it was everybody’s favorite the evening gown competition. First the teen delegates and then the miss delegates all had the chance to show off their personal fashion sense. The delegates returned onstage for one last chance to make an impression on the judges with the interview questions.   Now all was left was to announce the special prizes and announce the finalists.  These special award winners are qualified for state: Miss Amity was Marissa Gasper.  Miss Photogenic was split between Circe Bromagen and Jennifer Gutierrez.       Miss Gasper hits the runway during her onstage introductions       Miss Welch (yellow), Ms.  Gutierrez (blue) and Ms. Cohen (black) in the swimsuit competition.     The cast in the evening gown competition.     The results for Miss Ft. Lauderdale Teen USA were the first to be announced and the final results were: 2nd Runner Up is Marissa Gasper. 1st Runner Up is Shanell Welch The New Miss Ft. Lauderdale Teen USA 2011 is Circe Bromagen!     After the crowning moments it was time for the miss contestants to take the spotlight as the final results were announced: 1st Runner Up is Jennifer Gutierrez. The New Miss Ft. Lauderdale USA 2011 is Karine Cohen!   Miss Bromagen’s winning moment       Congratulations to Miss Bromagen and Ms. Cohen as they represent Ft. Lauderdale at state.
