Miss Fort Walton Beach USA &  Miss Fort Walton Teen USA January 22, 2012   Paige Millander answers her onstage question     The Road To Hollywood made its first North Florida stop of the 2012 calendar year at Sunday’s Miss Ft. Walton Beach USA & Miss Ft. Walton Beach Teen USA Pageants. The beautiful Emerald Coast Convention Center hosted the event that kicked off the new year with a bang. The evening began with the eight Miss Ft. Walton Beach USA and Teen USA contestants introducing themselves for the audience and judges to see. Then they presented themselves with introductions in either red (Miss USA) or white (Teen USA) opening wardrobes.   Then the hostesses for the evening Miss Ft. Walton Beach USA 2012 Lauren Eschbach and Miss Florida Teen USA 2012 Gracie Simmons got the party started! The lead the delegates through the traditional competitions onstage and continued the evening’s great energy. Swimwear and Evening Gowns of the delegates choosing was the order of the evening. Then it was a time for the delegates to tackle the random interview questions onstage with assistance from Miss Panhandle Teen USA 2012 Alex Chagnon.       Ms. Brown (black), and Ms. Cooper (yellow) Ms. Read (aqua) in swimwear of their choosing.     Miss Sykes (pink), Miss Leach (blue) and Ms. Heart (black) in the Evening Gown Competition.       After interviews with several traveling titleholders it was time to announce the results starting with the Miss Amity Award and that went to Chelsea Cooper while Miss Photogenic was a tie between Megan Hart and Paige Millander. After the presentations it was time for the judges results beginning with The Teen USA Division: Miss Destin Teen USA 2013 is Kristina Sykes Miss Ft. Walton Beach Teen USA 2013 is Summer Leach!   Then it was on to announce the results in the Miss USA division;  1st Runner Up is Brooke Read Miss Ft. Walton Beach USA 2013 is Brooke Brown!     Miss Leach and Ms. Brown’s winning moment   What a great pageant it was as we enjoyed our annual trip to Ft. Walton Beach. Congratulations to Miss Sykes, Miss Leach and Ms. Brown on their titles and entries to state in Hollywood. Now we head south to Coral Springs for Sunday’s second competition as we visit the Miss West Broward USA Pageant. So much fun from the highway as we continue the journey to Miss Florida USA and Miss Florida Teen USA!         Team Ft. Walton Beach USA 2013
