Miss Emerald Coast USA &  Miss Emerald Coast Teen USA April 26, 2009   On a beautiful North Florida Sunday afternoon The Road to Hollywood returned for the second year to Historic Downtown Panama City for the seventh edition of Miss Emerald Coast USA and Teen USA. The Martin Theater in its regal charm entertained the eight Miss USA and six Miss Teen USA contestants. An enthusiastic audience greeted the ladies as they hit the stage in either red (USA) or white (Teen USA) cocktail dresses. After self introductions the pageant was on!       Miss Meier answers Bailey Powell’s  question during her on stage interview     Hosting the show was Miss Jacksonville USA 2010 Bree Sisson along with Miss Emerald Coast 2009 (and Miss Panhandle USA 2010) Bailey Powell as they led the fast paced show before a very large and enthusiastic audience. The pageant began with self introductions that were followed by the obligatory onstage interview competition. Each delegate drew a question and then answered before the judges and audience with assistance from our new Miss Pensacola Teen USA 2010 Lacey McDonald. Then it was time for the swimsuit and evening gown competitions with selections of their own choosing.          Ms. Reynolds introduces herself to the audience / Miss Maxwell,  Miss Foss and Miss Ward in their opening cocktail dresses.       The judges for the afternoon competition included Lisa Lawson-Fish, Miss Maryland USA 1991; Natalie Barnett, Miss Alabama USA 1990, Ian Anderson and Anna Nowling. First up was Miss Amity and that went to Music Meier who was a hometown favorite. Then a major announcement was made as because of the large number of entries two titles were to be awarded. So the delegates are now also competing for the Miss Panama City Beach USA & Teen USA titles.         Mis McLeaney (light blue), Ms. Ashley (pink) and Ms. Wester (black) in Swimwear of their own choosing.         Chelsea Cooper (brown), Breanne Kimbal (gold) and Melissa Burke (black & white) in Evening Gowns       First to be called to the front of the stage were The Miss Emerald Coast Teen USA contestants as Ms. Sisson read the results; The first runner up was Leah McLaney Our first ever Miss Panama City Beach Teen USA is Kelsey Maxwell The new Miss Emerald Coast Teen USA 2010 is Victoria Ward     The pageant then had a second surprise as because of a tie that couldn’t be broken a new title Miss Bay County USA 2010 would be awarded. So with that in mind the Miss Emerald Coast USA results; The first runner up was Tara Marie Ashley The new Miss Bay County USA 2010 is Madison Wester The new Miss Panama City Beach USA 2010 is Lindsey Foss The new Miss Emerald Coast USA 20109 is Alyx Reynolds         Miss Maxwell is Miss Panama City Beach Teen USA! / Ms. Reynolds crowning moment       Congratulations to the new posse that is Team Emerald Coast USA consisting of Miss Maxwell, Miss Ward, Ms. Wester, Ms. Foss and Ms. Reynolds as they represent Panama City and surrounding regions this summer in Hollywood. Also a big thank you goes to our hard working staff and volunteers as pageantry returned in a big way to Panama City. The Road to Hollywood has one more stop to make this weekend as presently the Miss Pasco County USA competition is halfway compete.
