Miss Daytona Beach USA Pageants November 10, 2007     The opening production number finale         The second stop on The Road to Hollywood saw a Saturday twilight pageant as Daytona Beach USA returned to The Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center for it’s eighth edition. The evening saw two titles up for grabs in Volusia County as eleven delegates competed for the titles. Pageant Director Kim Decker and A2 Productions directs one of the original six preliminary pageants that always is amongst the best pageants of the year.         front marquee       This year was no different as hostess Erin McKinnon (Miss Ormond Beach USA) along with Jennifer Rafalowski (Miss Florida USA 2008) and Kendra Waller (Miss Daytona Beach USA 2008) kept the evening flowing and fun. The competition started with a dance production number staring our delegates along with Ms. Waller, Ms. McKinnon, Ms. Rafalowski along with Halsey Kinne (Miss Volusia County Teen USA) and Melissa Goldberg (Miss Ormond Beach Teen USA) . The number brought the audience to their feet. Then it was time to greet the evenings contestants during the self-introductions.        Ms. Minch, Ms. Kielar and Jessica Rhodes during the interview phase of the competition.           Next was The Swimsuit Competition that was followed by everyone’s favorite, The Evening Gown Competition with the delegates fashion sense is on display. Then the field was narrowed down to six finalists to compete in one more fashion segment. Then the entire cast returned onstage for the final act. Before the results were announced it was time to pay recognition to the special award winners. Miss Amity award went to Stephanie Chambers and Miss Photogenic was awarded to Stephanie Chambers. The People’s Choice winner was Andraia Kielar. A big congratulation’s goes to the A2 Productions Team and the staff of The Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center on a job well done!
