Miss Citrus/Orange County USA & Miss Citrus/Orange County/Kissimmee Teen USA February 4, 2007       The Road To Hollywood ventured north on I-95 for the first time in 2007 for the 10th annual Citrus Pageant Weekend in Orlando at The Grosvenor Resort as the Miss Citrus USA & Miss Orange County USA 2008 titles were on the line. The first surprise of the weekend was the addition of a Miss Kissimmee Teen USA title to acomidate the fifty-two Teen USA Delegates. Hosted by Jennifer Nohra it was quite the weekend as twelve titles in several age divisions were awarded in this two-day event.    Saturday was a full day of pageantry as all of the delegates competed in the interview competition with the pageant judges. The competition then hit the stage as Swimwear and Evening Gowns of their own choosing completed the competition on Saturday Afternoon. It was then back to the ballroom Sunday morning as the results from all twelve divisions were announced.       Miss Hastey had a full morning of crowning’s       The first results to be read were those of Miss Citrus Teen USA 2008. Helping in the crowning were Brandi Wines, Miss Melbourne Teen USA 2007, Tatiana Schoepler, Miss Clearwater USA 2007 and Miss Citrus Teen USA 2006 & Miss Florida USA 2007 Annile Hasty. From the fifty-two original contestants the group was narrowed down to a top five as the finalists qualify for state.   Then the special awards were presented in each category. The photogenic winners were Morgan Lucas (CTUSA) and Erica Beltre (CUSA), the Spirit Award was given to Shawon Mainor (CUSA) and Alyssa Nilsen (CTUSA) and these young women are now qualified for the state competitions.   Then Ms. Nohra called to the front of the stage The Teen USA delegates to read the results for the title of Miss Citrus Teen USA:   4th Runner Up is Nisha Brice 3rd Runner Up is Vanisha Arjune 2nd Runner Up is Fajala O'dneal 1st Runner Up is Morgan Fehr   Miss Kissimmee Teen USA 2008 is Krystal Gillen Miss Orange County Teen USA 2008 is Megan Polly Miss Citrus Teen USA 2008 is Morgan Lucas   Morgan Lucas is Miss Citrus Teen USA 2008!     Then it was time to bring out the finalists for The Miss Citrus Teen USA title. The first announcement was narrowing the eighteen delegates down to the five finalists which qualified for state in Hollywood. The results were voted on by the judging panel and their selections;     4th Runner Up is Shawon Mainor 3rd Runner Up is Nicolette Moore 2nd Runner Up is Jessica Nolette 1st Runner Up is Jennifer Scott Miss Orange County USA 2008 is Summer Leigh! Miss Citrus USA 2008 is Erica Beltre       Miss Polley, Savanah Stevens, Miss Hastey, Miss Lucas and Miss Gillen       Ms. Leigh and Ms. Beltre are heading to Hollywood!       Congratulations to the staff and volunteers of Citrus Productions for another great weekend of pageantry! Another congratulation’s to Ms. Beltre and Ms. Leigh as well as Miss Gillen, Miss Lucas and Miss Polley on their victories and entries into the state pageants in Hollywood this upcoming summer and fall.
