Miss Charlotte County USA &  Miss Charlotte County Teen USA Miss Charlotte County Teen USA August 12, 2007       Backstage before the show with our  Charlotte County USA delegates     The first pageant of the season in Southwest Florida saw The Road to Hollywood venture on I-75 to The Charlotte County USA & Teen USA Pageants. The competition took place as a Sunday matinee onstage at The Charlotte Harbor Expo and Conference Center. Hosted by Miss Charlotte County USA 2010 Anastasia Pavlenko and Miss Ft. Meyers USA 2010 Kathleen Patton the pageant was ready to kick into high gear.   The three Miss Teen USA delegates opened the show with self-introductions in their white cocktail dresses while the USA division introduced themselves in their red cocktail dresses. This was the first chance the audience had to meet the young ladies and then gained insight into their public speaking abilities with the onstage interview competition. The pageantry continued with swimwear of one or two piece suits of their own choosing. Then it was everyone favorite, the evening gown competition showed the delegates flair for fashion. All competitions ended with group comparison judging.       Ms. Williams during the onstage interview and Ms. Teston in her red cocktail dress       As soon as the votes were tabulated by the official auditor the results were handed to Ms. Patton to read the judges results. Up first was the Miss Photogenic award for the pageant, all of which qualified the winner to the state pageant: Miss Photogenic was presented to Jaclynn Harrison. Then Miss Amity was announced and Wendy Williams wins the afternoons friendliest award.        Miss Arnold (white), Miss Brathwait (blue) and Miss Hodges (green) in the Evening Gown Competition.       The USA swimsuit competition         Then the Charlotte County Teen USA delegates were called to the front of the stage and read the results: 2nd Runner Up is Chrissy Arnold 1st Runner Up is Ashleigh Hodges Miss Charlotte County Teen USA 2011 is Catherine Brathwait!       Ms. Teston’s crowning moment / Miss Brathwait takes her first official picture as Miss Charlotte County Teen USA with hostess Anastasia Pavlenko     Finally the Charlotte County USA delegates were called to the front of the stage and read the results: 2nd Runner Up is Wendy Williams 1st Runner Up is Jaclynn Harrison Miss Charlotte County USA 2011 is Aubrey Teston!       Team Charlotte County USA 2011     It was truly a great day of pageantry. Congratulations to Ms. Teston and Miss Brathwait on their entries to state in Hollywood. Also a big thank you to the days dedicated staff of volunteers who put together one fun afternoon of pageantry. Up next is a trip south on I-75 then north on I-95 for the Miss Ft. Lauderdale USA and Teen USA Pageants on the final stop of the year in 2009!
