Miss Brandon USA &  Miss Brandon Teen USA March 14, 2009   The Road to Hollywood made its first ever stop in the Hillsborough County city of Brandon for the inaugural Miss Brandon USA & Brandon Teen USA Pageants. Contested at The Center Place the three Miss USA delegates and three Miss Teen USA delegates opened the competition in the best blue jeans as thc competed for the chance to represent this fast growing city in Hollywood later this year.       Ms. Pelletier answers her interview question / Miss Pinion greets the audience       The evening started with pageant director Brigittia Long introducing the hostess of the evening Stephanie Gilbert and Marissa Collier, Team Pinellas County USA 2010. After introducing the pageant and local dignitaries it was time to bring out the contestants. The delegates presented themselves and greeted the judges and audience signaling the pageant was underway. During their introductions each delegate added a tidbit about themselves to the audience.   The stage competition began with swimsuits as the delegates wore one or two- piece suits of their own choosing. Then it was everybody’s favorite the evening gown competition. First the teen delegates and then the miss delegates all had the chance to show off their personal fashion sense.         Miss Pinion (yellow), Ms. Terrell (blue) and Ms. Williamson (peach) in Swimsuits of their own choosing   Miss Jardine (light blue), Miss McMahan (silver) and Ms. Pelletier (brown) in the Evening Gown Competition       Now all was left was to announce the special prizes and announce the results. Miss Amity went to Samantha Williamson while Miss Photogenic was awarded to Emily McMahan. Then it was time for the big announcement and the Teen USA delegates were called to center stage.   The results for Miss Brandon Teen USA were the first to be announced and the final results were: 2nd Runner Up is Emily McMahan 1st Runner Up is Rayne Pinion The first ever Miss Brandon Teen USA 2011 is Rachel Jardine!     Miss Jardine during her crowning moment /   Ms. Terrell is the new Miss Brandon USA!         After Miss Jardine’s crowning moment it was time for the Miss Brandon USA contestants to take the spotlight as the final results were announced: 2nd Runner Up is Samantha Williamson 1st Runner Up is Jessie Pelletier Completing Team Brandon USA 2011 is Amanda Terrell       Congratulations to Miss Jardine and Ms. Terrell as they represent Brandon at state. Also a congratulation’s goes to Pageant Director Brigittia Long and her volunteers at Crown Couture Productions Team for an outstanding pageant!
