MISS ALACHUA/MARION COUNTY  USA & TEEN RESULTS February 22, 2009             The Road to Hollywood continued the 2009 Tour of Florida with the third annual Miss Alachua/Marion County USA Pageant. Under the direction of Chelsee Atkins and her Chelsee Productions team it was quite the Saturday afternoon of pageantry as the three invites to state were at stake. The Oak Hall Theater hosted the seven Miss Alachua/Marion County USA and three Miss Alachua/Marion County Teen USA delegates.       Ms. Wilson answers Ms. Ratliff’s question       Ms. Carey during interviews & Miss Pierce during onstage introductions         Hosted by Miss Gainesville USA 2010 Victoria Ratliff and Miss North Central Florida Teen USA 2009 Katie Green got the crowd ready for the delegates to hit the stage in their opening blue dresses for the Miss Teen USA delegates and black dresses for Miss USA contestants. Then they all presented themselves to the audience and judges and the pageant was on!       Ms. Castles (blue), Rachel Peavy (maroon) and Ms. Gray (light blue) in swimwear of their own choosing       Miss Weaver (yellow), Ms. Kelly (black) and Miss Barket (violet) in the evening gown competition.         The contest started with onstage interview judging that consisted of a self introduction speech and blind draw question. The remaining competitions were onstage as swimwear was one or two-piece selections of the delegates choosing. The evening gown segment concluded the competition in a regal fashion. Then it was time to get down to the business of the Day. Up first was the announcement of the Peoples Choice Award and that went to Leeanne Carey. Miss Amity Award as the delegates chose Raven Wilson (USA) and Morgan Barket (TUSA) their favorites. Our photographers then voted Jordan Weaver (TUSA) and Kelly Redouty (USA) as Miss Photogenic, these recipients now have qualified to state.         The Marion County Teen USA delegates await the decision       The first order of business was to announce the results for Miss Marion County Teen USA:   The 2nd runner up is Morgan Barket The 1st runner up is Danielle Pierce Miss Marion County Teen USA 2010 is Jordan Weaver       Miss Weaver is the new Miss Marion County Teen USA         Then the final entry was up for grabs as the results for Miss Alachua/Marion County USA were announced: The 2nd runner up is Kelly Redoutey The 1st runner up is Nicole Kelley The new Miss Alachua County USA 2010 is Amanda Gray The new Miss Marion County USA 2010 is Brittney Castles     Ms. Gray is Miss Alachua County USA 2010 (left) Ms. Castles is Miss Marion County USA 2010 (right)         Congratulations goes to Mrs. Atkins and her team of volunteers and staff as they put together a fun day of pageantry. Also congratulations to Miss Weaver; Ms. Gray and Ms. Castles as they have their tickets stamped to Hollywood this upcoming July and October. The Road to Hollywood now heads South on the Turnpike to Ft. Lauderdale as the Pageant Doubleheader weekend continues!         Team Marion County USA 2010
