Miss West Coast USA & Teen USA Super Pageant 2007   March 4, 2006   The Road to Hollywood made its third and final stop Saturday in Bradenton for the eight-titled Miss West Coast USA & Teen USA Super Pageant. The evening saw the thirty-five delegates competing for the third annual Miss Manatee County USA and Miss Sarasota USA titles were complimented by the second Miss West Coast USA title and first ever (and possibly changing) Miss St. Armand’s Circle USA title along with the matching teen winners!     The West Coast USA & Teen USA delegates in their opening outfits       Manatee Bayshore Auditorium was the venue and a large and vocal audience greeted Miss Florida USA 2006 Cristin Duren who was the evening’s hostess along with some assistance from M Productions and Pageant Director Marianne Oden who greeted the delegates for opening introductions and the competition was on! The Teen USA delegates introduced themselves in blue jeans with white tops while the USA delegates complimented their blue jeans with black tops.    First came the swimsuit competition onstage as the delegates competed in one or two piece suits of their own choosing. Then the competition concluded with Evening Gown’s as it was the delegate’s fashion style on display. Earlier the interview competition saw each delegate compete in a panel style session.     The comparison judging in Swimwear       During the evening entertainment was provided by The Bayshore High Honey Bear Dance Team. Miss Florida America Teen Sierra Minnott performed a beautiful dance number and Katy Carson finished the evening with a rousing rendition of “Black Velvet” while the judges finished their tabulations.     The West Coast USA contestants awaiting the finalist announcements     First up was the presentation of the special awards of the evening that qualifies the winners for their respective state pageants. Miss Photogenic went to Jillian Wunderlich (Teen USA) and Genevieve Jahn (USA) while The Peoples Choice winners were Katy Kreig (Teen USA) and Dahlia Grimes (USA).   Then the group was whittled down to the finalists in the two categories with the Teen USA finalists read first; Tess Wilensky; Katie Kreig; Karrisa Brogan; Jillian Wunderlich; Nicole Boyd; Tifton Wilson; Keianna Bennett and Lainna Vinopal. The USA finalists were then announced; Johanna Torres; Crystal Mulock; Jamie Daniels; Genevieve Jahn; Carolina Correa; Brittany Thomas; Cassie Burbanks and Lilly Ann Robbins. These above young ladies have now qualified for the state competition.     Without further delay it was time to announce the results for the Teen USA division: 4th Runner-Up is Lainna Vinopal 3rd Runner-Up is Keianna Bennett 2nd Runner-Up is Tifton Wilson 1st runner-up Nicole Boyd The new Miss Sarasota Teen USA 2007 is Tess Wilensky! The new Miss Manatee County Teen USA 2007 is Katie Kreig! The new Miss West Coast Teen USA 2007 is Karrisa Brogan! The new Mystery Title goes to Jillian Wunderlich!     Sarah Long crowns Miss Wilensky     Miss Minnott crowns Miss Wunderlich     Then the Miss USA contestants moved to center stage for their results: 4th runner up is LillyAnn Robbins 3rd runner up is Cassie Burbanks 2nd runner up is Brittany Thomas 1st runner-up is Carolina Correa     The new Miss Sarasota USA 2007 is Johanna Torres! The new Miss Manatee County USA 2007 is Crystal Mulock! The new Miss West Coast USA 2007 is Jamie Daniels The new mystery title goes to Genevieve Jahn!     Ms. Daniels winning moment!         The West Coast USA team heading to state with Mr. Galanes (FL USA Co Pageant Director); Ms. Duren (FL USA 2006) and Mrs. Oden (M Productions – Pageant Producer)     Congratulations to the entire West Coast delegation on winning their titles and representing Manatee County and Sarasota at this years state pageants. Also congratulations to Mrs. Oden, Ms. Carson and their wonderful volunteers on their outstanding pageant! Three pageants in less then twelve hours and sixteen title’s in what was truly a “Pageant Super Saturday”! Next on The Road to Hollywood is a trip back on I-4 for Miss Orange County USA & Teen USA this Sunday.
