Miss Coral Gables Teen USA & Miss Coconut Grove Teen USA April 29, 2007   The Road To Hollywood made it’s last stop in Miami Dade County for the Miss Coral Gables/Coconut Grove USA and Teen USA Pageants. Twenty-nine hopeful’s competed for the four titles and entries into state later this year. Hosted by Miss Florida Teen USA 2007 Anile Hastey along with her sidekick Luis it was an enthusiastic standing room only in the Miami Airport Hilton’s Ballroom. Our Miami-Dade fans love pageantry as witnessed by the enthusiasm as well over twenty local titleholder were in attendance!       Salina Wallin introduces herself with the assistance of Miss Kissimmee Teen USA Krystal Gillen     After introducing our hostesses it was time to meet the contestants as the first phase of the competition was the self-introductions. The delegates had up to one minute to give the audience and judges insight into their personality and ability to speak in public. The attire was chic in black or pink tops and jeans as it was time to give the audience some Miami chic.       Miss Marzigliano (Peach), Ms. Utvich (Black) and Ms. Guevara (red and white) in suits of their own choosing         Then introductions of the numerous South Florida USA and Teen USA titleholders onstage in attendance turned into an impromptu interview session with pageant director Michael Galanes. After the audience had the chance to meet the young ladies the pageantry continued with the swimwear competition, the delegates competed in one piece or two-piece suits of their own choosing. Then it was everyone favorite, the evening gown competition showed the delegates flair for fashion. Called first was the Miss Teen USA delegates to the stage. Several preliminary awards were presented with each winning a spot on the eligibility list for state.   The Miss Amity winner was Jessica London The Miss Photogenic and Swimsuit Awards went to Lourdese Marzigliano   4th Runner Up is Phillita Valencia 3rd Runner Up is Natasha Castrillon 2nd Runner Up is Shenell Welsh 1st Runner Up is Riley Nowell Miss Coconut Grove Teen USA 2008 is Lourdese Marzigliano! Miss Coral Gables Teen USA 2007 is Jolie Schamber!     The Miss Amity winner was Danie Almunor The Miss Photogenic Award went to Yamine Kauffmann The Swimsuit Awards went to both Izabela Stancu and Johanna Torres.     Miss Marzigliano winning moment         Now it was time for the results for the titles of Miss Coral Gables USA and Miss Coconut Grove USA, all of those who placed are qualifiers for Miss Florida USA: 4th Runner Up is Dubraska Guevara 3rd Runner Up is Izabela Stancu 2nd Runner Up is Salina Wallin 1st Runner Up is Melissa Utvich Miss Coconut Grove USA 2007 is Jessica Fehr!
