Breakfast at Satine’s

Wednesday morning started very early at Satine’s, the hottest restaurant in South Florida which opened up especially for our delegates both for breakfast and lunch. At Miss Florida USA you need to have all the energy a healthy breakfast provides to get you through a fun pageant day. The talk of the morning was the “heavenly” beds at the hotel, possibly the most comfortable night of sleep ever for our young ladies! Even the comforters are special at The Westin Diplomat Resort.

Morning speeches were led by contestant director Rachel Uziel as the delegates were all excited about day number two at state. All the ladies left breakfast with smiling faces and full stomachs!

Rehearsal! Rehearsals! Rehearsals!

Day number two is all about preparing for the international broadcast on Saturday night. Director Jeff Palmer, Assistant Director John “J.B.” Best and choreographers Roy and Ali Bramwell had the ladies looking fantastic for a first rehearsal day. This is one spectacular group of delegates competing for the title of Miss Florida USA 2005.

The Great Hall of The Westin Diplomat provided the rehearsal space as our delegates are focused on this being the best Miss Florida USA ever! Even while the girls are working hard, fun is the name of the game. Rehearsals are all about work but how can you not enjoy yourself in these beautiful surroundings.
