“The Road to Hollywood” took a short trip west on Pines Blvd. as we visited the fast growing city of Miramar. The first time event had quite the turnout of traveling titleholders along with a very rowdy crowd who witnessed a very competitive pageant. Director Rafael Gallego and his Excellence in Crowning Collective put together a not only a pageant but an event. Complete with a buffet dinner and several talented performers to kick up the evening a notch!

 

Hosted by Team Florida USA 2010 members Megan Clementi and Alyssa Rivera kept the evening flowing and our traveling titleholders completed the night as we planted the Miss USA Flag in another city we now call our own! Up next on our eternal pageant travels is the longest trip lf the season as its Panhandlepalloza USA Tour 2010 as we take the show on the road to Pensacola and Panama City. Kudos to our Miss Florida USA 2010 Megan Clementi and ten (10) of our titleholders and little sisters join forces to climb the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse as part of Ms. Clementi’s Climb for the Cure initiative. “I’d heard of people who ‘Race for the Cure,’ so I decided that I would climb for it,” she said. Megan chose the foundation Susan G Komen for the Cure as her charity and will climb all 30 lighthouses in Florida as a way to draw attention to the cause. Once again our Megan goes above and beyond as over $15,000.00 has been raised as $550.00 was added last weekend. On March 20th, she is traveling to St Augustine for their 18th Annual Lighthouse Festival, everyone is invited!
