A tough job modeling the prized bracelet!

» Hollywood Boys & Girls Club Welcomes the Stars

Always a highlight on the Hollywood Social Calendar the 14th annual Hollywood Boys & Girls Club Welcome the Stars. This year our Jenna Edwards was a featured star along with other celebrities such as Bill O’Reilly, Dee Wallace and Loni Anderson. It was a who’s who of our host city and this was the first chance for Hollywood to meet Ms. Edwards as Miss Florida USA.

As the pride of Hollywood our Miss Florida USA was given the task of modeling one of the featured auction items a beautiful tennis bracelet from Morning Star Jewelers. Then it was a chance to catch up with our pageant friends Allison Kreiger (Miss Florida America) and state director Mary Sullivan who so graciously gave of their time for this official Miss Florida USA Charity. It’s wonderful when our Florida pageant family can come together for a cause as worthy as The Boys & Girls Clubs. Early reports were for donations to be in the $400,000.00 range. So nice job ladies!

» Miss Florida Teen USA Models for Breast Cancer Awareness

Miss Hastey with a friend and matching bodyguards.

The second appearance of Thursday night was to Grove Isle Country Club for Next In Lines “Shades of Pink” fundraiser. Our Miss Florida Teen USA Annilie Hastey had the envious task of modeling a beautiful Nicole Miller design with some serious ice from Tiffany & Company. How serious you might ask? She had her own bodyguard! Then Miss Hastey also had to assist in the raffling of a pink jaguar and a matching pink Range Rover.

When asked about Miss Hastey’s personal preference to either automobile she said with no delay the Range Rover! Either way over $180,000.00 was raised during the auction. What a great way to support such a worthy cause. Miss Miami Teen USA Alexandra Montesano and her twin sister Michelle were also guest models. Thank you to Nicole Shelly of the Nicole Shelley Agency for allowing us to be a part of this fantastic evening!

Miss Hastey likes the pink Jaguar...

...but she would rather have the pink Range Rover.

PICTURE OF THE WEEK!

We return to The Boys & Girls Club Gala on Thursday night as this picture gives a perspective into why pageantry is great. Our two Miss Florida’s Ms. Edwards and Ms. Kreiger along with Dolphin mascot TD & members of The Hollywood Boys & Girls Club. The two pageant camps got together in support of helping children during their time of need. That is the good that pageantry is and that is why we selected our Picture of The Week. Enjoy!
