Today is a very special
Faces & Places as we unveil this unique thumbnail display of our national
championship of pageantry through the lenses of our very own Miss Florida
USA’s camera. Our Sunshine State’s representative, Cristin Duren, all made
us very proud as she reached the elite top 5 finalists and had a great time
while achieving such a great placing. Enjoy the pictures as you get a unique
view of Miss USA!

» In The Audience: Miss Ormond Beach USA 2007!
As the aftermath of Miss USA was concluding we kept the Road to Hollywood open for the first ever Miss Ormond Beach USA and Miss Ormond Beach Teen USA Pageants took center stage at The Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center. Director Kim Decker Antos and her hard working and dedicated volunteers of A2 Productions did a great job this past Sunday night! As always her team of pageant titleholders were in full effect and the results were a great evening of pageantry. Here are some pictures of our visiting family and friends, enjoy!

Kudos to Miss Orange County USA 2007,
Carissa Grazel, who last weekend participated in the Great Strides Walk
to raise awareness and funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The
walk took place at beautiful Lake Eola in Downtown Orlando. Together
Carissa and her team raised over $850 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Overall
the walk raised $114,000. For anyone interested in finding out more

Kudos to The Hollywood Jaycees for hosting a wonderful Miss USA
watching Party last Friday Night at The Hollywood Beach Marriott where it was
BYOT...Bring Your Own Tiara! The event was hosted by our Miss Hollywood
USA Pageant sponsor, the Marriott Hollywood Beach and brought out so many of
our Miss Florida USA family. Pictured from left to right are Tatiana,
Miss Hollywood USA 2007 Rachel Rose, Miss Hollywood Teen USA 2007 Krizia
Toledo and Miss Hollywood Teen USA 2006 Diana Crawford. Everyone had a
blast cheering on Cristin and way to go Hollywood Jaycees!

Kudos to Miss Orlando USA 2007 Jessika McLaughlin who was on the
"Red Carpet" for a grand opening with The Regal Entertainment group.
The invitation only guests being able to re-in act the golden globes by having
their photo taken with an Oscar, the President of Regal took part in helping
out some local charities. Along with Kyle Davies (starting pitcher for the
Atlanta Braves) my part as Miss Orlando USA was to present over $50,000
in "big checks" to the representatives from various organizations.

Florida USA 2005 on Reality Television Show!
Congratulations to our Miss
Florida USA 2005 Melissa Witek as she can now reveal that she is on a brand
new reality show called "Treasure Hunters." The show will air
on NBC on Sunday, June 18, at 8pm EST. The first episode is a 2-hour
premier, then the show will fall into it's regular time slot on Monday nights.
She filmed this series back in the fall of 2005, along with two other teammates: Kristen Johnson (Miss Kentucky USA 2005) and Kaitlyn Christopher (Miss Indiana USA 2005). as Team Miss USA. Due to privacy issues as well as keeping the results a secret the participation has not been released but now it’s official. Maybe this will lead to big things for one of our Miss Florida USA family members.
