Hollywood Candy Cane Parade
What a beautiful night for a parade! The 45th edition of The City of Hollywood Candy Cane Parade took over the Hollywood Broadwalk this past Saturday. More than 1,500 participants in 112 Marching Bands & Units attracted approximately 800,000 visitors. The route took the participants along the 2.5 mile stretch that is east of A-1-A and right on the surf and sand.

Amongst the Floats and Colorful Characters was this years Grand Marshall Miss Florida Teen USA 2006 Miss Jennifer Wooten & Her Court of Titleholders. Joining us for the evening; Angel Coleman (Miss Homestead/Florida Keys); Shantavia Davis (Miss Oakland Park USA); Christian Erickson (Miss Oakland Park Teen USA); Amber Gerrod (Miss Palm Beach County Teen USA) Cindy Kohn-Cybulkiewicz (Miss Hispanidad USA) and Alysa Spirato (Miss Gold Coast Teen USA). Along the route emcee Brian Freeman from WIOD AM610 introduced our titleholders who were the biggest stars at the parade except and of course, Santa!

Parade Patrol
It
was a beautiful, cool and brisk Friday evening in Daytona Beach where our
Miss Daytona Beach Teen USA Erin Winters was a special guest in the Daytona
Beach Christmas Parade. Joining Miss Winters was Miss Florida USA 2006
contestant Miranda Weber as they added that special something to the annual
event in eastern Volusia County. Enjoy the pictures.

All the way up in St. Augustine we found our Miss Jacksonville USA Sherri Leaf and Miss First Coast Teen USA Ashley Lake in their traditional holiday parade that ventured through the historic downtown district. Our girls looked amazing and the weather was perfect. Thanks to Ms. Leaf for the pictures!

The
parade doubleheader concluded on Sunday for our Miss Florida Teen USA as
Jennifer was a featured guest in South Miami’s Parade of The Elves. The
route took us through the quaint city and passed Sunset Mall and US 1. It
was quite the crowd as Miss Wooten was the final celebrity next to that
scene stealing Santa Clause. Next to the big guy himself she was the biggest
hit of the parade. The setting was perfect as winter is in full swing down
here in South Florida so a chilly 68 degrees kept everyone in the holiday
spirit. Enjoy the pictures!
Our
good friends at The Hollywood Jaycees also were involved in Saturday’s
Candy Cane Parade on Hollywood Beach. The Jaycees
float and presentation featured Miss Hollywood USA Lindsey Shockey
and Miss Hollywood Teen USA Diana Crawford. A big congratulation’s goes to
Miss Crawford who earlier that day learned she was accepted to The
University of Florida! Great pictures and great jobs ladies!
