» Miss Boca Raton USA & Miss Boca Raton Teen USA NEWS

The Miss Boca Raton USA and Teen USA Pageants are still accepting applications and are call for all Miss Teen USA potential delegates to join. As of Wednesday the pageant has 4 Miss Boca USA Contestants and 1 Miss Boca Raton Teen USA delegate so this is a great opportunity to represent this fast growing community and work with a very dedicated director.

We are happy to announce this year’s pageant will be held at West Boca Raton Community High School located west of 441 on Glades Road. (SEE Directions) The pageant will start at 5:30 pm, with the doors opening at 5:15pm. Tickets are $25.00.

Day number one of our three-day pretape session is a videotaped tour of our host hotel and the adjacent day spa. Past shoots included pedicures; facials; messages and of course amazing food. We need five delegates to show off the world-class facility and will include scripted lines on camera. First RSVP’s get the opportunity.

Day number two offers the delegates a chance to guide our viewers through the various fun places in Hollywood! Sports will be the theme as the day includes golfing; tennis and a tour of The Hollywood Art & Cultural Center and other outdoor events during the day. The morning begins with opening introductions and then heads to our swimsuit montage at The Hollywood Marina. After that beginning it a tour of our host city that will feature several opportunities for the delegates to read lines on camera!

Saturday May 20^th

The third day of May’s pretape session head just west of our host hotel to the unique shops and Intracoastal waterways of The Westin Diplomat Landings. The first taping session of the day will feature; Show Opening Introductions; Swimsuit Montage; Prize Segment Modeling and pageant fun!

The Road to Hollywood’s second trip to The Timber Creek Performing Arts Center Saturday afternoon had the second annual Miss City Beautiful USA & Teen USA featured along with the first ever Miss Avalon Park USA and Teen USA Pageants. The highly competitive afternoon had eleven Miss USA and eleven Miss Teen USA delegates seeking either of the two crowns. Hostess and Co-Pageant Director Julie Broughton of Central Florida News 13 who greeted the audience as it was time to get the pageant started!

The show began by getting the crowd out of their seats in a choreographed dance number featuring the delegates in jeans and tops while dancing up a storm. Then it was competition time as the tradition swimsuit and evening gown competitions preceded the onstage interviews.

Before the final placements were announced it was time for those special awards that also qualify the winners for state. First was Miss Photogenic and the winners were Brandi Wines (TUSA) & Alana Rodriguez (USA). Miss Amity went to Jeane Almulla (TUSA) and Kristen Janollo (USA). Finally it was the Peoples Choice Award and that awarded to two time winner Jeane Almulla (TUSA) & Catie Walker (USA).

Then the final results were announced with The Teen USA Results being read first:

2^nd Runner Up is a tie between Brand Wines & Heather Elwell

1^st Runner Up is Fajala Odneal

Miss Avalon Park Teen USA 2007 is Jeane Almulla!

Miss City Beautiful Teen USA 2007 is Nicole Boyd!

Then it was time to announce the Miss USA division results:

What a great afternoon of pageantry! Congratulations to Miss City Beautiful Productions and director Frank Arcidiacono along with their outstanding group of volunteers ran an outstanding pageant. Job well done! Now the Road To Hollywood heads to Miami for two more titles to be handed out this weekend!

» Miss Miami USA & Miss Miami Teen USA 2007

The Road to Miami visited The Capital of The America’s as a highly competitive Miss Miami USA Pageant with twenty-eight delegates awaited. The two titles were awarded in separate shows, a matinee for Miami Teen USA and an evening performance for Miami USA. Florida International Universities Anne Wolfe Theater hosted the sixth Miss Miami USA Pageant, which is one of the original six prelims and carries on the tradition in Florida’s largest city. An enthusiastic crowd came to cheer on the fourteen Miss USA and fourteen Miss Teen USA delegates.

Let’s meet the judging panel. The Miss Miami Teen USA judges included: James Bengio, personal banker for Citibank; Ray Merard, education specialist for Miami Dade County School System; Masielle Otero, Miss Miami USA 2003 and Interior Designer; Rosy Rodriquez, Manager for Luis Vatton; and Greg Vitiello, US Naval Commander and Homeland Security Advisor. The Miss Miami Judging Panel included: Mairi Callam; Manager for Dade County Library Services; Dr. Sherry Manburg, Autohor and Hospital Administrator; Chanelle Pittman; PGA Player Development Coordinator; Gabriel Rodriquez, General Manager Cocowalk and Gallery Malls; and Andy Rogow, VP Theater League of Florida.

After the judges were introduced and before the top five finalists were announced it was time for the specials award of the Miss Miami Teen USA Afternoon, the winners qualify for state:

Miss Amity – Elizabeth Figueroa

Best Smile – Alexandra Montesino

Miss Photogenic – Christel Duque

Peoples Choice – Christel Duque

Then the top five finalists in The Miss Miami Teen USA Pageant were read in random order: Kelly Brumer; Alexandra Montesino; Geraldine Sanon; Ivis Vega and Christel Duque. Then Miss Waller met the girl’s center stage for one last question before the judges and audience and then they selected their winner.

Then the final results were announced for Miss Miami Teen USA:

4^th Runner Up is Ivis Vega

3^rd Runner Up is Geraldine Sanon

2^nd Runner Up is Kelly Brumer

1^st Runner Up is Christel Duque

What a great day of pageantry! Congratulations to both Ms. Montesino and Ms. Perkins who go to state representing the Magic City of Miami. It's Getting Hot In Here - Summer Time Fashion Labels
