The May Pretape Weekend concluded Saturday at The Diplomat Landings on the Intracoastal just west of our host hotel. The 9:30am call for our two delegates and Miss Florida USA 2006 Cristin Duren was a much welcomed change from the prior two early mornings. “Getaway Day” for the pretape segments means a lot of fun in a short amount of time. The days schedule called for a shopping tour, a modeling segment of www.jewelryworld.com jewelry and finally a great lunch at the world famous Nikki’s Marina.

Our Miss Florida USA Cristin Duren was joined by Jami Lynn Daniels (Miss West Coast USA) and Nichole Graham (Heartland USA) as we completed the Westin Diplomat Mini-doc tour. And how much fun it was! From clothes to art to finally ice cream the delegates showed off the uniqueness that is the Diplomat Landings. Then a final farewell lunch at Nikki’s Marina was quite the treat as nobody likes to travel on an empty stomach! Especially when it’s the tres’ chic restaurant and nightclub that is internationally known as Nikki’s.
Things got serious when shopping was involved!
With a weekend off to enjoy Memorial Day it’s back to work for the hard working crew of Tel-Air and Miss Florida USA as four days of pretape await June 1 –4 along with Seminar Day!
