Pretape Weekend

Thursday
was one of the most anticipated shoots of the season as it was Westin Diplomat
Resort and Spa Mini-Documentary Day of The May Pretape Weekend Center. The
8:00am call for our three titleholders and Miss Florida USA 2006 Cristin Duren
as it was time to show off for our host hotel to the viewing audience. The day
was perfect and the schedule had a full day awaiting our group.

Up
first was Ms. Duren opening the segment in stand-ups showing of the atrium
lobby and artwork. After a few more set-ups including several trips up and
down the lobby elevators it was time to greet our competing delegates for the
afternoon. The Miss Florida USA titleholders in attendance were: Nichole
Graham (Heartland USA); Jennifer Olkininsky (Broward
USA); and Candice Smith (Emerald Coast USA).

After
a very good morning filming session inside the hotel it was time to go both
pool and beachside. First up was our very own cabana as Ms. Duren establish
the tropical surroundings and later ended the tour on a lounge chair. Then Ms.
Graham, Ms. Olkininsky and Ms. Smith visited the zero entry-level pool and
then walked in the sand of The Atlantic Ocean. After the mornings video taping
session it was off to Splash for Lunch Al Fresco beachside.

afternoon started in The Govenors Suite as www.JewelryWorld.com
Prize Tape brought plenty of “bling” as it was diamonds aplenty in this
sequence. The ladies got to show off their jewelry amongst the beautiful views
from the 31st floor. After a few more stand-up’s from Ms. Duren
it was time to take the 3:00pm shuttle to The Diplomat Spa and Country Club.

The
last setups of the day included Massage Session and Facial Treatments for our
fearsome foursome. Ms. Duren started the afternoon with a unique
“stand-up” during a message. Then it was facials with Ms. Olkininsky and
Ms. Graham while Ms. Smith finished with a massage of her own. Then it was on
the shuttle and time to call it a day and a job well done.

Up
next is May Pretape Session Day two and includes Openings and Swimsuit
Modeling at The Hollywood Marina. Then it’s golfing at Hollywood Beach
Country Club and Tennis at David Park. Throw in a tour of The Hollywood Art
& Culture Center and you have a full day!
