April Pretape Weekend, part 1

April 29, 2006

The first all out “official” Pretape Weekend began early on Saturday April 29th at The Hollywood Production Center. The first light was awaiting the ladies as a 6:30am call had the cast and crew up very early but excited to get the 2007 Miss Florida USA Pageant started! The day was to be comprised of delegate self-introductions for the opening segment. A new segment, The Swimsuit Montage; as all of the delegates will be seen in and around the Hollywood waterways in swimsuits of their own choosing. Throw in two prize segments (Bijoux Terner and Ritchie’s Swimwear) and a few tour of Hollywood segments and you have a very busy morning!

The opening introductions feature the delegates introducing themselves in jeans

and either lime green or tangerine tops.

The delegates and crew arrived at Hollywood’s Holland Park right on the Intracoastal Waterway directly across the water from Las Palmas Restaurant and Miss Florida USA Dinning Series Sponsor. The sun was rising as the first setups had the crew scrambling to catch that perfect bronze light. The Miss Florida USA delegates in attendance were: Carissa Grazel (Orange County USA); Noelle Johnson (Citrus USA); Yazmin Navarro (Sunset Places USA);  Sunner Negron (At-Large/Kissimmee) and Lindsey Shockey (Pembroke Pines USA).

The Ritchie's Swimsuit Prize

Ms. Grazel; Ms. Navarro and Ms. Shockey were featured in the Ritchie’s Swimwear Prize while Ms. Johnson and Ms. Negron had some beautiful close-ups with some great Bijoux Terner creations. Before the group left both Ms. Grazel and Ms. Johnson had stand-ups before the camera. Ms. Grazel touting the beautiful nature trails while Ms. Johnson and perfectly timed rowing crew showed off the water sports of Hollywood.

One final group shot

One last group photo ended the video taping well before lunchtime! For the crew of Tel-Air it was back to the home office and begin the video editing. But it’s early to bed for cast and crew as tomorrow brings another very early call as it’s Hollywood Beach Day!
